It has come to my attention recently that some people may think that the work that I do with Motivational Maps is just about motivating people.
In fact, it is not so much about motivating them but about measuring what motivates them, helping them to understand what motivational drivers they have, and how that affects their interactions with others who have differing or the same drivers.
It is about helping them understand themselves and why they make decisions or act in certain ways.
It is about helping teams to work better together by understanding each other and improving communication.
It is about helping managers to work best with the people in their teams and to see them as individuals with differing drivers and values.
We help people to see how well fulfilled they are in in each of their drivers and if they are poorly fulfilled in high drivers we can work with them and with their managers on strategies and a motivational action plan to improve those satisfaction levels
So ultimately it may be about improving motivation but there is a lot more to it than that.
Motivational Maps effectively put tangible data on an otherwise intangible concept.
I hope that helps give a better understanding of the benefits of Motivational Mapping
